Independent research and case studies confirm that usage of First in Math leads to
improved performance on standardized tests as well as improved attitudes toward math.
The fast paced video game design and friendly competition components result in nearly
40% of the student activity taking place during non-school hours.
Scope of First in Math ranges from one step addition through multi-step algebra. Students improve skill areas
such as basic math facts, number sense, patterning, fractions, decimals, integers, word problems, standardized
test practice, critical reasoning, and more.
The improved performance and excitement with math being witnessed by educators had led to
over 100,000 PA students participating. Grades 2-8 is the most prevalent audience.
2008-09 looks to be continuing with this strong growth.
